Armed with artistic talent and a dream, Alaskan Tattoo artist Kyle Roll, accompanied by this friend Nick Frederick, will set off on road trip spanning 7000 miles from way up North in Anchorage, Alaska to tour the American West Coast.
The Purpose is to engage in a cultural odyssey to compare life in his native state to the more diverse lifestyle experienced by inhabitants of these warmer states. His journey includes being a guest artist at many local shops. Kyle Roll will be expressing his experiences during the journey via his art form, from artwork on bar napkins, to sheet work. and personalized inking.
With his Kickstarter page, https://goo.gl/6WvZbb, Kyle and his friend Nick hope to helpfund their documentary, entitled 7000 Miles of Ink. The money donated will go toward art supplies, travel expenses, and access to venues where the artist can share his work.
You can get involved in making this project happen through Kickstarter For as little as a $10 donation, for Bronze Ink Sponsorship, where you will get a thank you letter and a copy of the documentary.
For a $25, you get Silver Ink Sponsorship, you get the above plus a limited edition artist decal. The rewards go up incrementally with your sponsorship dollars and a donation of $250 or more gets you Platinum Ink Sponsorship which includes: A Thank You letter A copy of the documentary A limited edition artist decal A limited edition signed 3″x5″ piece of artwork A limited edition artist t-shirt A limited edition signed 9″x12″ piece of artwork Personal credit in the documentary
